Trip Overview

1-11 spent three days, 30th October to 1st November (1/11, our day!!) in Malacca, exploring the various sights and sounds of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was an extremely eye opening experience and we enjoyed ourselves very much.

This blog recounts our experience in Malacca and also attempts to share what we have learnt with the public.

Pre-trip
Before our trip, we did some research on the places we were going to go, so that we knew more about the places we were visiting.

Day 1
On the first day, we visited MOZAC and were introduced to the Peranakan culture.
Day 2
We had our Big Day Out and visited Malacca's landmarks and various museums. We ended off with Malacca Evening, a showcase of what we have learnt from our research and Big Day Out.
During our last day in Malacca, we visited Kampung Parit Penghulu.

People
While we were enjoying the sights and sounds on our Big Day Out, we interviewed three amazing people. The interviews were then showcased in an exhibition at Malacca Evening.
Post Trip
Here are some reflections about our experiences in Malacca, such as what we learnt on each respective day, as well as a few thoughts about how our class has grown closer.
